Sonny was our first Ragdoll in 1990 and quite the most exquisite cat we have ever seen!  Sired by one of the very first 12 Ragdolls to enter the UK - Blossom Time Romeo, his gentle loving and rather childlike temperament coupled with his striking looks, made him the epitome of the Ragdoll Cat, thus often referred to as ‘the face’, he was indeed, hauntingly beautiful….. From the breed point of view, he represented the Bicolour Ragdoll when the British Ragdoll Cat Club (TBRCC) strived to achieve recognition of the Ragdoll under the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) in the UK and as seen on our introductory page - when shown at the age of 6, he achieved the highest accolade of Top Overall Ragdoll 1996/97 having only been shown a few times, but to us he was always our beloved Sonnybunny and that is how he remains eternally in our minds .Today, we are proud he has been chosen to depict the Seal Bicolour Ragdoll for the Traditional Ragdoll Cat Society.  We are also thrilled to learn that the talented artist Simona Bucan, who recently won the commission for the ‘Cats’ stamp series with her beautiful paintings of six different breeds of cat, included Sonny’s portrait to represent the ‘Ragdoll’ in this delightfully attractive series issued by Romfilatelia for Romania 2006. So in different ways, Sonny lives on – but mostly and forever within our hearts…..
