Our kittens are lovingly reared inside our home and
once they are weaned and litter tray trained, we
carefully introduce them to the normal daily running
of the household, so they become accustomed to
everyday noises such as TV, vacuum cleaners etc.
Our kittens leave for their new homes between 13 –
14 weeks of age after having received their full
inoculations. They will be insured for the first 6
weeks with Pet Plan Insurance and we always
recommend new owners continue the policy – these are
living creatures and like children no-one can
foresee any illness or accidents they may fall prey
too. Sonnifacio kittens leave here with a clean
bill of health, their pedigree certificate, together
with full care and diet information, they are
registered with the Governing Council of the Cat
Fancy (GCCF) and we are Registered Breeders with The
Traditional Ragdoll Cat Society. Our kittens may
leave but we are always aware of their welfare and
are at the end of the telephone if a new owner needs
help and advice.

Please take note of the above statement, it
is of the utmost importance if you are
intending on giving a loving permanent home
to a Ragdoll cat. However, Ragdolls may be
trained on a leash from an early age, or
better still, if it is possible, new owners
may cat proof their gardens or install a
custom made run which can be done easily and
cheaply. We are always happy to help and
advise regarding this issue. Years ago when
we had our first big run and tunnel, many
cat visitors were impressed that something
so simple could be made for our cats’ safety
and many have happily followed suit with
either cat proofing or erecting Cat Playruns.
Ragdolls can and do jump 6ft high fences –
each Ragdoll has it’s own personality - some
jump, others do not, but be warned – some
definitely do! So if you take your Ragdoll
into your garden, he must be supervised at
all times.

Teddy and Missy - two of our
first pet Ragdolls atop 6 ft.
fences, BEFORE we had that
particular garden catproofed and
netted in – BE WARNED! Both had
collars but Teddy got out once
but thankfully he was safely
returned almost immediately -
but YOU may not be so lucky! |
